Erin S. White*

Biography

Erin White practises in all areas of workplace law, including labour, employment and human rights.

Erin represents unionized and non-union employers in the private and public sectors. She regularly advises clients on a broad range of workplace issues, including terminations, disciplinary matters, employment and contractor agreements, workplace policies, accommodations, attendance management, collective agreement interpretation, and collective bargaining.

Erin has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as numerous tribunals such as labour and commercial arbitration boards, the Labour Relations Board, the Employment Standards Tribunal, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Canada Industrial Relations Board. In addition, Erin has extensive experience representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediations.

Prior to co-founding Mitha Law Group, Erin was a lawyer at western Canada’s largest employer-side workplace law firm. Before attending law school, Erin was a legislative intern with the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, and a policy advisor at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.
