Dawson Creek (City) v. Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2403 (Longley Grievance), [2021] B.C.C.A.A.A. No. 195

Mitha Law Group represented the City of Dawson Creek in a labour arbitration between the City and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2403. The City terminated the Union president for just cause claiming he had treated employees and others in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. The Union grieved the termination claiming there was no just cause and sought reinstatement.

The Arbitrator ruled in favour of the City upholding the termination and finding there was just cause.
