Boffo Family Holdings Ltd. v. Garden Construction Ltd. and others, 2011 BCSC 1246

This involved an oppression claim between family members who had been in business for many years. We successfully argued that the removal from the Board of Directors in that case was not oppressive. Additionally, we successfully argued that there was a deadlock in the company and the Court should order a shotgun purchase. The Court ordered a shotgun process to break the deadlock and awarded our client costs.
