Ensign v. Price’s Alarms, 2017 BCSC 2137

Successfully represented an employee suing for wrongful dismissal. The key issue concerned the circumstance in which a terminated employee is required to work for his former employer to mitigate his damages. In addition to awarding 12 months’ salary, the Court awarded aggravated damages.
